Jonathan Holby is a London-based Fight Director.

He started his training in Shotokan Karate at the age of 7 and after obtaining his 1st dan taught his own class alongside his father. Jonathan has continued to train in numerous martial arts and weapon systems and has gone on to work as a Fight Director/ Co-ordinator for both stage and screen, working in the West End and Internationally. He was introduced to Performance Combat whilst studying as an actor and it is this training that has influenced his approach to choreography, working with the director and actors to create a fight from the characters viewpoint. Jonathan is also a serving member of the British Army as part of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers.
